Collings C10 Custom Cutaway Maple Back & Sides

This is a stunning custom Collings C10 acoustic guitar that features a list of custom appointments. This guitar's response is extremely quick and the tone is clear all the way up the neck. This is a fantastic guitar for the player who likes to play intricate passages all the way up the neck. The cutaway body allows the player to reach every note on the fingerboard easily. 

Featuring highly figured maple back and sides, this guitar resembles Banjo Studio owner David Bandrowski's Collings AT16 and the response is similar. Quick, punchy, and clear all the way up the neck. This being a flattop guitar with a round soundhole, the guitar has a bigger/fuller acoustic tone. 

The strictly aesthetic appointments added to this guitar make it a true show stopper! Ivoroid binding on with '42 style abalone trim on the body, neck, and peghead as well as abalone trim rosette. Collings SJ style inlays on the neck and peghead. Tigerstripe pickguard and a full body sunburst finish of this masterpiece.

Based on guitars first introduced around the same time as the OM, the Collings C10 is a leaner alternative with the narrow waist and small upper bout resulting in a precise, focused response. Of all Collings' acoustic models, the C10 is perhaps the easiest for electric guitarists to adapt to, thanks in part to the more rounded neck profile. The small oval neck heel is ideally suited to the custom cutaway featured on this guitar, which allows unrestricted access to the upper frets.
