The Deering Artisan Goodtime banjos are the brown stained version of the blonde Goodtime banjos along with a few other upgrades. One is the Midnight Maple fingerboard which is a separate maple fingerboard that is pressure stained so that the stain penetrates all the way through the wood for a durable, long-lasting finish.. This will not wear off or fade like other staining processes that just stain the outer coat of the wood.
The Artisan Goodtime banjos come equipped with planetary-style tuners, providing a classic aesthetic. Additionally, a set of five-string capo spikes at the 7th, 9th and 10th frets allows for an effortless transition between varying musical keys.
