Excellent customer service! Banjo is just what I ordered and sounds great after a little tuning out-of-the-box. I have already ordered other banjo accessories from Banjo Studio. They are my “go-to” vendor.

Good Tone for Money
Banjo studio did a nice job of answering my questions, and the banjo arrived quickly. I have a back problem, and this banjo is fairly light but still has a really nice tone with its steel tone ring and maple pot. It sounds mellower than I expected when I go to the low notes, which I like. You can still get those bluegrass high notes for sure, however. Solid Deering construction, and the inlays look nice, as well as the dark stain on the resonator and neck.

Incredibly clear tone, light weight
I started playing banjo last fall, and this was an upgrade from a $500 Ibanez resonator banjo. And what an upgrade it was! The sound quality and tonal clarity are like night and day. It's also not too heavy, like resonator banjos often are. Banjo Studio was great in their customer service, too!
