This is an older Vega Long neck banjo without a tone ring. It plays well and sounds good, but the finish is really beat up on this banjo.
The tuning pegs are also a bit difficult to turn but they do function.
Comes with a hardshell case that looks like the original, but it is very beat up.
Features a sliding 5th string capo.

It is a Folk Wonder... very beaten up.
I own a 1964 folk wonder. This one I see is not a long neck but a folk wonder like the one I have. My model is in pristine conditions and it goes for the same price. I am not sure where your pricing comes from.... The yellow tag inside the rim will tell you exact model and year. It does sound very good but not sure the price is right for the amount of restoration will have to go through.

Vega Folklore longneck
I own this model of a Vega long neck. It is a great banjo, though does lack a tone ring, to keep the price lower in the early 1960s. The higher priced model, the Pete Seeger model, was fancier all around, and has a tone ring. I also own one of those. This one for sale has clearly been through very rough times. It looks as though the finish of the neck would need to be completely redone, with a new head, new tuners, and a complete buff up. I love my old Vega Folklore.
